about

a collection of tunes played on the ancien Agyptian bow harp in undertone music scale.
This ancient Egyptian bow harp was built by Claude Allard from Sarlat who copied it from an original painting from Ancient Egypt. Its sound is unique: soft, crisp and warm. My aim in playing it is not academic even though I am using an ancient music scale that was probably used in Ancient Egypt. You cannot find this scale on a piano. The ‘Aulos, Schlesinger or undertone Scale’ was found on a flute excavated at an archaeological site in Greece. You can read more about the Aulos scales in my recent book ‘Music as Mystical Journey’. Besides the bow harp I sometimes play a koto, also built by C. Allard, I also sing and occasionally use sound¬scapes that I created with Omnisphere. The title of texts by Bob Moore that I recently published is: ‘Feelings are the Pathway to your Soul’; and feelings are the door to this music. The Aulos scale creates a completely different type of music. Allow it to sink in and draw you into the depths of yourself.
